What is Viscoelasticity?

Viscoelastic was developed by NASA with completely innovative properties and intended to relieve the pressure that occurs in the body of astronauts during the space craft take off. This type of plastic was created as a direct result of the space program in the 60s, although it was in the early 90s when the researchers were able to incorporate it into domestic use.

Today it is used in various sectors. In particular mattresses: since it does not produce any pressure on the body, the viscoelastic is highly recommended, especially for people with lower back or neck ailments, with inflamed or sensitive body areas, or for people who have to be bedridden and need flexible resting equipment.

The use of viscoelastic relaxation in the sector is increasingly rooted because the services offered are currently the most recommended for a healthy break: medium firmness combined with adaptability.

It is an antiallergic and antibacterial product whose open-cell structure enables the free flow of air preventing humidity and regulating temperature.

It also favours blood circulation, reduces body movements during sleep, cervical problems, and provides a back rest.

There are various densities and various types of memory foam, the most used for resting equipment are: viscoelastic "pore or open-cell" and viscograph.

What is Eliocel?

Eliocel is a polyurethane compound derived from an advanced material of open cell structure, which acts as support and provides a resistance proportional to the weight of each sleeper, enabling correct perspiration.

With this formidable equipment we not only achieve great resilience, adaptability and endurance, but also guarantees total independence in the beds.

is a completely hygienic material because it has a mite barrier.

Eliocel is ideal to combine with materials like memory foam, because of its flexibility and firmness, being able to create combinations of the highest quality and comfort.

What is Biocell?

Biocell is an innovative material produced from natural products of vegetable origin. Raw materials from renewable resources are used during its manufacturing. Biocell is an ecological material, environment friendly, because its use implicitly contributes to reducing CO2 emissions in the atmosphere and helps reduce greenhouse gases which inexorably threaten our planet.

It is worth mentioning that every ton of Biocell produced means a reduction of about 2 barrels of oil.

Biocell is a material specially designed for resting applications. Thanks to its high elasticity, permeability and durability, it is presented as the ideal solution for high-end and high quality mattresses.

What is Latex?

Latex is the sap of the tropical tree Hevea brasiliensis grown in South-east Asia, Africa and South America. Its natural elasticity causes the ability to move freely conforming to body contours.

The even distribution of pressure prevents pain on maximum pressure areas (shoulders, hips, ankles) and guarantees optimal blood circulation.

Latex has an open cell structure containing millions of interconnected bubbles. That provides high elasticity and ventilation.

Our latex mattresses are quiet, have anti-mould, antibacterial and anti-mite properties and do not cause allergies.

The latex used in our mattresses is manufactured by the Belgian company Latexco, a leading global company. Its philosophy is based on the high quality of its products and respect for the environment.

What is Oeko-Tex®?

All fabrics in our mattresses feature the label Öko-Tex Standard 100 which certifies and guarantees the absence of harmful substances in them.

The label Öko-Tex Standard 100 is awarded by the twelve Textile Research Institutes associated with the International Association. This association only admits one member per country and AITEX institute is the Spanish representative.
